This book piques my interest and then turns around and makes me press pause. haha! I'm putting this book on my to-be-read shelf because it has a lot of elements that I like with the mixing of sci-fi with fantasy, but I don't like that the characters are stereotypical. That's what disappoints me most. I want characters that are unique and who pull me into the story. I'm looking forward to checking this book out when I have the time.

This sounds like an interesting novel, but one with a plot that is familiar to me. I think that the fantasy genre in books is great adventure for readers. I also like that the book contains different settings such as the country of Romania. I also like that the author mixed fantasy and Christianity which is unusual and I have never heard of it being done.

I'm curious to try this one solely because the author mixes so many themes in the book. I would love to see how he utilizes each and how they complement each other. Nice review!

I understand your points about the errors and the repetitive nature of the last quarter of the book. I am glad that you liked the book overall. Congrats to the author on the 3/4 rating.

I am in sci-fi for some time and I'm loving them. This books also seems to be of my taste especially when it got vampires. I'll definitely read it, if I get a chance. Thanks for the review! :D

When, I was reading the free sample, I'm so in love at how the writer tells the story. And when, I read this review it just makes me want to read it fully.

P.S.: I'm all for Peter's missing son and the mystery of his childhood, but on the part of Vlad Dracula (isn't the name overrated? It has been used, heard, read and written on almost every vampire story), I can jive with it but not to a full extent. Not a fan of vampire story but is deeply interested in Peter's story :tiphat:

P.P.S.: Great review nonetheless :techie-studyingbrown:

Romance, time travel, vampires, and action all in one book? It sounds like it packs quite the punch! Great review!

I usually don't like vampire stories, but the plot of the story captures my interest. I amore interested in the Christian overtones. Thanks for the information about this book.

The plot seems intriguing. The combination of time-travel, vampires & romance sounds fascinating. Despite the drag in the last quarter, I really want to pick this up one day. Congrats on BOTD!

Unfortunately, today's BOTD isn't one for me, but for those who enjoy fantasy, romance, time travel and....wait for it....VAMPIRES, will definitely love this book. Thank you for your review! It was helpful and well-written. :-)

Peter and Luke need to go back to medieval times in Romania to kill Dracula so that the modern-day people will be protected from vampirism. The mixture of time travel, vampires, technology, and romance seems that the book has a little of everything.
