This book actually sounds captivating and enticing and the review rating is quite commendable of the author, however, I'm not that into dark side novel or abusive reads. Might change my mind though. Thanks for this great review.

Not at all the type of book that I would love to read. Erotica, child abuse plus filled with demons and magic.

I generally like dystopian fiction, but I'm put off by the parts dealing with the paranormal and dark erotica. I'm not comfortable with the scenes of child abuse either. Thanks for your review, though.

Thanks for your honest review of this book. I'll be skipping it because of the erotica and the fantasy elements, which I really don't enjoy. I'm happy for those who do read it that it is so well-written!

Thanks for the well-written and informative review. It sounds like an intriguing romance story, but I will have to pass because of the sexual content. It is very disturbing that it involves children.

I'm not an erotica fun, I think I'll pass it. Thanks for the review.

I thought your review was okay and if you like to read books where people and even children are sexually abused, that's a matter for your own conscience and for you to answer for.

But I do have a major problem with this book being a mandatory download in order to enter the daily give away.
Is that how the OBC operates? When your faithful readers, reviewers, and members who come every day to promote the books you spotlight start getting too many entries carried over, you throw in a mandatory download of a book that probably 80% of us find morally reprehensible. All to save a crummy $20 gift card.
And if I'm not speaking the truth, why not just offer the book for free like you have so many times before with other free books?

I know you like us to talk about OBC and it's books on our Social media accounts. I've done it many, many times in the past and you can be sure I'll be doing it today as well.

Well. Happy Valentines Day too! Yikes.

House of Pain by Denna Holm, a book about Magdalena and her quest for true love sounds interesting. The title of the book is intriguing and I will consider reading it. Thanks for free copy of the book. Congratulations on the BOTD. Great review.

Science Fiction is not for me, especially when it comes to abuse of children. I’ll pass on this one. Good review.

It does not look like a book I would enjoy. I can take a little violence when the story demands it, but even if the story is extraordinary I don't think I will be able to go through a book containing disturbing scenes involving children. Great review!

There are several elements of this novel that seem interesting, but some disturbing ones leave me unsure. Probably I'll end giving it a try anyway. Thanks for your thorough review!

Thanks for the great review. I have downloaded the book to read at a later time. I am not sure if I will like this book or not, but there are some intriguing parts, such as being raised in a whorehouse and looking for love. I think Maggie is a character worth exploring.
