This sounds like an interesting book. A sci-fi gangster book also seems original. I'm glad that the story has twists and turns and keeps the reader guessing until the end. It seems like a book that I would enjoy. Thanks for your review.

Sounds as if this has all the liveliness and intrigue of a gangster story, in a well-built world with flair and colour due to the inclusion of magic. The homophone errors clearly couldn't detract from this gripping read.

I was quite intrigued when I read the premise of this book. I don't think I've ever heard of a story about gangsters who live on another planet and have magical powers. Definitely a unique idea. It sounds like an interesting and exciting story, despite the errors you mention. Thanks for your insight!

Gangster and magical relics? Such an interesting combination. I will check this out.

I feel genuinely torn on this one. While I’m not the least bit interested in gangster stories, the magical relic piece sounds really interesting and it seems to have made the story enjoyable for you. Thanks for writing a review.

Could you just imagine how strong one family would be if they got their hands on all seven of those relics? I can't wait to find out what each of the relics are, and what powers they bestow upon the owners.

Just kinda curious, at any point were you actually rooting for any particular one of the families to win out over the others?

This is a gangster story, maybe in the tradition of The Godfather or The Sicilian Clan. But there is more because it seems they have imported wizards and gadgets from Harry Potter, and crafts from Star Wars. Well, anything, and everything for a pleasurable and unique novel. I'm not gonna miss this one. Thanks for your interesting review.

This book sounds like a mixture of sci-fi, magic, and criminals. A terrible combination! I don't like seeing it on the screen, but it's a little different reading it in a book. Nevertheless, I think I'll pass on this one. Thanks for your review, though.

Wow, it sounds like you really enjoyed this book. I love a good page turner any day! I'm not big on magic though, so I may not like the book for that aspect. However, a book that gets a perfect score always deserves a chance. Great review.

Gangster meets fantasy. There is a mix-up of genre here, it seems. Gangsters using magic wands? I have not read the book yet, but this is how I see it. Or gangsters are now riding flying cars when extorting money from their territory. Gangster wars now would use incantations and spells. What an exciting novel. This goes to my " must read" shelf.
