Thank you for your excellent review of Roan:The Tales of Conor Archer by E.R. Bar. It's not easy a task to find a compelling urban fantasy. Your review highlighted the strongest aspects of the novel. I feel inspired to read it.

It's funny that you note the magic an mysticism are keeping this from being a perfect story!
For me, those would be the most interesting parts! :lol2:
Thank you for this review!

The cover kind of made me not want to read it, but when I read what it is about, I was in love with the plot. Mythology, especially Celtic is my favorite. Thank you for letting me know about this book.

Great review. It sounds like this author has a lot of talent. With so many Americans having Celtic ancestors somewhere in their history, there is certainly basis for a lot of fans. I don’t care for the mixing of religions or delving into dark things.

I like the style of writing the review, which is definitely and undoubtedly an inspiration to the debut authors who put their hundred percent in their writing. The review covers all the aspect of the book.

This book sounds fascinating! I like coming-of-age stories that include magic and history. I appreciate when an author tells a good story with character development and complicated motifs. I'm looking forward to reading this one!

Thanks for your review. While I am not usually a fan of fantasy, I like the idea of layering modern settings with traditional lore.

What a fantastic review. I love the genre, when done well, and this sounds like it doesn't disappoint. It's good to know the world and character building were spot on. The Celtic background and dark mysteries are enticing.

E.R. Barr has penned a fast-paced, richly complex, and intensely engaging urban fantasy in Roan. The positive review really compels one to read the book. Great job on the review @jacknthabox
