Having read this book myself, I agree that editing is required. I also did not like the pacing of the book in some places, but it seems like that was not a problem for you. Glad you enjoyed it!
It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.
I found the book intriguing and confusing, but also impossible to put down. It was such a challenge to see if I could figure it out. I've only read the first one, so I'm still not sure who and what Damon is and who, exactly, is the One. There seem to be three candidates so far. And who is Michael Anthony Day and why does he get killed in such a stupid way? There's GOT to be more to it. If I can't stop thinking about a book, it's definitely grabbed my imagination. Great review!
The next Dark Mirrors of the Soul is the book of day, hurrah, so I read the free sample which immediately cleared up some of my questions about the previous book. I have to go on, so I've bought it. Now I see the third book is also available soon. This is becoming a lifetime exercise!
Wow! I just selected this book to read and now I can't wait to get started on it! The way you've expressed yourself in this review is something to admire. You write the kind of reviews I would like to be able to write, lol. I will definitely take time and care to enjoy this reading.
Latest Review: "A Kingdom Forgotten" by Charles W. McDonald Jr.
I just started this in the .mobi version and am running across those same grammar issues. I hope you are right about the amazon copy, as I am finding the story intriguing in spite of the odd sentence structure. Thank you for the review!
