Dragons are the best. I would read anything that has dragons in them :) Thank you for the review!

Honestly, you had me at dragons :D

This sounds like the story may be coming-of-age, my favorite kind of book. The inclusion of druids and the challenge to a set system (dragons are enemies) intrigues me. It also being fast-paced is a bonus! Nice review.

I have read all of M.R. Mathias' books and loved them all. I am so glad that you enjoyed this book. I have recommended it to my local library to carry.

When I started reading the review, I was concerned that you were going to give too much away, but I think you told just enough before switching to your opinion of the book. You have convinced me that I would enjoy this book. Thanks for the able review complete with good caveats!

This sounds like a very entertaining book. I like the idea of a youngster developing a surprise relationship with a wild "animal." I also appreciate your disclosure about the level of descriptive violence. Thank you for a helpful review.

Congrats on BOTD! This sounds very interesting, although I have so many books in my "to read" list, that I may not get to this one.

Thank you very much for your review. I was looking for an example of narrator in 3rd person. I will read then to get into that fantasy world and at the same time, to learn about the 3rd person narrator...
Thanks again!

Wow, this sounds like a great start to an action packed series. I can say I've only read one other series with dragons and looking forward to seeing how this one compares. Congrats on being BOTD!

Not my normal read, but your review did a great job of selling me! I like how you mention how the action and suspense starts from the very beginning (which is something I always appreciate). Will definitely be reading it now..great review!
