Thanks for an honest review. I'm not interested in reading a book that starts off so poorly. I also don't really enjoy it when the protagonist has amnesia; it seems the main character's memory always comes back at just the right time (for the writer, anyway).

I wouldn't want to wake up in the middle of a battlefield with amnesia... The negative possibilities are endless; would salarin still remember how to fight? This seems intriguing.

This science-fiction book seems like it will appeal to readers who enjoys stories with an intergalactic theme as well as with lots of unexpected twists and surprises. Great review!

Twists, turns, and surprises fill the pages of today's BOTD. Although this isn't the book for me, fans of the scifi and fantasy genres are in for an engaging, intergalactic-themed read! Thank you for your helpful review and keep up the great work! :-)

I enjoyed your review and am glad that you stated honestly that it was slow to get into at first. It does seem like an interesting book, thank you.

She wakes up in the middle of battle, I hope Salarin would find victory, but the chances seemed slim. I would like to find out.

i hate it when the book starts with a boring plot, that you have to reach the middle to finally have it more sense to you. So, I would probably stop reading books like this one. But if you thought it was a good book when you reached the middle, and found yourself unable to stop reading, then it must be a good one. Also reminds of some classic books. Boring in the beginning as if you're reading someone's social media timeline of what happened in their lives, and then in the middle where you find the plot's beginning. And then after reading the whole book, you realized what's the purpose of the boring introduction.

An intergalactic warfare, a lost girl, and a minister wanting to seize another planet. This book sounds quite an adventure. I must admit, though, the premise isn’t something I have not already heard in so many sci-fi novels. Nevertheless, I still might sample this book.

The title seems rather cliché, but this is Tayma Tameem's work so I'm looking forward to another mind-boggling world they've shared with us.

As much as I like science fiction, those featuring intergalactic warfare are not at all my forte. Hence, I will pass this one. Glad that you enjoyed it, though. Thanks for the review!

Thank you for your honest review. Sci/fi isn't my favorite genre, though I do like the author's style of writing. I prefer books without so many characters, that I keep getting confused about who all of them are. I believe I will pass on this one.
