Abel was a true hero of faith. It could show how he always wants to do good and show love.

I feel like Abel's Character had so much more to give especially regarding the growth of his faith in God.

On the other hand, God accepted his spirit by wresting him from the demons because of his faith. Abel becomes a hero of faith when he sets that standard. It was not self righteousness that made him offer God an acceptable sacrifice, it was faith.
I can't agree with you anymore. As a Christian I believe that faith is fundamental; even the Bible alludes that with the faith of a mastard seed, one can move mountains.
Perfectly said.... Even the Bible says that Faith without work is dead. I think it is because of Abel's works; giving God the best he has, and his works that made God accept his sacrifice.

I agree. It is by faith, precisely as the Bible says.

Faith is the foundation of Abel's hero history. It was his love of God and his faith that prevailed.

It was Abel's faith that made his sacrifice acceptable and not the size or content of his sacrifice

It wasn't just faith, I think it was a thing of the heart. God only looks at man's heart when rendering his blessings. Abel had a good heart and gave cheerfully.

I agree that Abel lived a life that honored God because of the faith he placed in God. Unlike Cain, who based his life not on faith in God but on rules and government, which is why he and his line turned to such sinfulness. Because a life based without faith in God, is a life of lawlessness and sin.

It was by faith and not works that Abel became immortalized as the champion of faith.
