Another awesome verse is John 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

Another awesome verse is John 1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not.

Another awesome verse is John 1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

Another awesome verse is John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

A very popular one is also Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
I love both of these verses! They have helped me through so much!

I like Jeremiah 29 : 11 which says "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." :D

A great reminder of where strength comes from: "Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" 2 Timothy 2:1

Another encouraging scripture:
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

2 Kings 2:23-25 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. "Get out of here, baldy!" they said. "Get out of here, baldy!" He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.
When I was younger this story was never featured in my theological education. Never mentioned once. I had heard so many of the same platitudes, so many of the usual verses that had been spread all over the place. Greeting cards and balloons and spread anywhere money could put it. So this verse became special to me. It was almost like a secret. I routinely find people don't know it. Yet here we have a moment that makes the biblical characters as human and flawed as we all are.
“A person’s never too old for stories. Man and boy, girl and woman, we live for them.”- Roland Deschain

Another important verse is John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I find this to be very uplifting; when we are feeling lost in life , it is comforting knowing that we are not alone.
Totally agree! This year has been horrible for so many, and I unexpectedly lost my mother in June. There isn’t a day that I don’t pray for strength. I don’t necessarily feel it, but I’m still here, so I trust it’s there.

I love Psalm 11. It reminds me to always run to God and just trust Him whenever I have trouble.

Another important verse is Psalm 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.
