I love both of these verses! They have helped me through so much!Arimart99 wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 16:13 A verse I really like is this one:
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
A very popular one is also Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

When I was younger this story was never featured in my theological education. Never mentioned once. I had heard so many of the same platitudes, so many of the usual verses that had been spread all over the place. Greeting cards and balloons and spread anywhere money could put it. So this verse became special to me. It was almost like a secret. I routinely find people don't know it. Yet here we have a moment that makes the biblical characters as human and flawed as we all are.

Totally agree! This year has been horrible for so many, and I unexpectedly lost my mother in June. There isn’t a day that I don’t pray for strength. I don’t necessarily feel it, but I’m still here, so I trust it’s there.Stephanie Elizabeth wrote: ↑01 May 2020, 18:50 I particularly connected with the following verse:
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
I find this to be very uplifting; when we are feeling lost in life , it is comforting knowing that we are not alone.
