The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
I find this to be very uplifting; when we are feeling lost in life , it is comforting knowing that we are not alone.

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
A very popular one is also Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

I love that verse! I enjoy reading any and all of the Psalms. When I pay close attention to them as I read, it seems God always gives me something special out of every verse!Stephanie Elizabeth wrote: ↑01 May 2020, 18:50 I particularly connected with the following verse:

It comforts me to know that I can talk to God the way I would talk to a friend and he will meet me where I am.

I do that at times too. It helps me just to rewind and review my day or my thoughts.Deborah kalu wrote: ↑08 May 2020, 15:15 I must admits, I hardly go through my bible whenever am praying to God.instead, I talk to God in my own words instead of in his own words.one thing that the author really helped me with is the usage of bible verses to confront our situations.
