Tragedy. Dr. Renfield did try to do the right thing in the end, so I really don't believe it to be any kind of karma from the universe.

I would say it was a romantic tragedy. I think his karma was given to him in his death, though it was a disgust and horrible way to die and I felt for him after learning of it. But I do think it was sad that he never knew Amy was pregnant, but I feel even worse for Amy because her baby's father is dead, and despite if she hesitated telling him or not, he was most likely going to die anyway. So I hope in the next book we see more of her and her baby.

I personally think it was more a romantic tragedy than karma simply because of Amy's stalling. I thought it was sad he never knew. I think Reinfield had a tradgic hero complex and was decent deep down so it can't really be seen as karma

It was definitely a tragedy, but then I also think they saw it coming.

Its a combination of both. Andrew never stood up against his fellow scientists, being a coward, and Amy could never tell him about their child, which is just sad.

According to the theory of Karma, what happens to a person, happens because they caused it with their actions. Andrew's fate states the same.🌸
Readers know it. Authors know it. Publishers know it. A promising review sells books!

I think it was a romantic tragedy rather than karma because of Amy beating around the bush but it was unfortunate he never knew. I think Reinfield had a tradgic hero character which made the reader almost feel sorry for him

It is very tragic but at the same time would they be a couple? On the surface they would but who knows where that would have led. He should have found out before the end as it might have been able to bring joy before hid end.

I think its more of karma because Andrew's ultimate fate was determined by how he lived and believed. Romantic tragedy doesn't come in because I don't think it was the couple's aim to have a child otherwise Amy would have divulged her condition to Andrew immediately she became aware of it.

It could be a case of both. Not knowing your child is bad enough let alone allowing the worst acts to happen under your watch, all in the name of science.

I think it was a case of romantic tragedy because of Amy's stalling. It was sad he didn't know. I think Reinfeld I just think he felt trapped in his job and felt he couldn't leave without consequences since he knew everything.

I would say a little bit of both. Reindield had some good inside of him, but he wasn't able to leave because he wanted to help Kata and there would be consequences due to what he knew. It was sad that he never knew.

Ferdinand_otieno wrote: 01 Apr 2020, 01:37 In the story we learn that Amy Saunders is pregnant with Andrew Renfield's child. She had yet to tell him this before he met his death under Project Epsilon's hands.
Do you think that Renfield's death before learning about his child was a case of romantic tragedy from Amy procrastinating or a case of Karma from the inhumane acts they allowed and followed in GenTech?
What an observation man! You are awesome. I had to actually think about this. It has to be karma, I think, because the entire plot of the book revolves around karma. Everyone gets their fair share in the end.
