I haven't read the Left Behind series. Your review is captivating but I won't be reading this book, since I find it is not my preferred genre. :)

I recently read and reviewed a similar book - What the Hand - and so I seriously considered this one, too, when I saw it on the list, but ultimately decided against it. I just didn't like the idea of the whole FBI aspect and Jason using that during his travails, though I'm not sure why. Still, I'm glad it was an enjoyable read and, thanks to your review, perhaps I'll reconsider it... Thanks so much!

I understand what you mean. Without revealing any spoilers, the FBI's involvement was more helpful than invasive. I'm not sure how realistic that is, but it made for a more enjoyable plot!
