This is a great book and so much more than just the sport. And I agree with you; it really cannot be described by a single genre. Enjoyed your thorough review :tiphat:

This seems like an interesting story about female friendships that are built from breaking the stigma that accompanies fly fishing. I can imagine this book is not for everyone but overall it started well and was easy to read. A great review!

Just one of the things that is unique to the female race is that we can bond over the most seemingly ubiquitous things in this case fly fishing. I am very interested to read this book, and hope to make this my next review. Your review was wonderful and I can't wait to read more about each of these ladies and there antics and hijinks.

There is a saying that what a man can do, a woman can do better. So, am not surprised reading about women that fly fish. The review is explicit.

The characters seems interesting but I have never been intrigued by fishing. So, I'll pass on this book.

In this novel, I see a film of veteran actors showcasing each gifted talent as she narrates her life amidst friendship and fly-fishing. I see life as experienced and enjoyed by each and am sure relatable to many.

ea_anthony wrote: 22 Sep 2018, 12:54 A beautiful review, obviously inspired by a beautiful book. All of a sudden, I feel like going on a fly-fishing expedition. My to read list is already clogged way into 2019, however, I hope to find a way to squeeze this book in my 2018 reads. Well-done for a beautiful review and congrats to the author on #BOTD.
I need to read this book sometime soon.
