I think it doesnt have a strong storyline and too many short story in the whole book may be confusing and will not mark a best selling one. Thanks!

Unfortunately, it sounds like a book I would pass on.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. (Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) :reading-7:

I do enjoy short stories but prefer ones that have a meaningful twist at the end. Reaching the conclusion of a story, only to be left wondering what the point of it was would be too frustrating. Thank you anyway for your opinions on this book.

I'm disappointed; I knit and I was hoping it was a story about knitters (thinking it was the other kind of yarn). Maybe I'll give the book a look anyway since it's made up of short stories, and I can read a little at a time.

The stories all sound very interesting. You can count me in for anything mysterious or paranormal. I could definitely enjoy the collection.

I can relate to your difficulty in rating this book. I recently reviewed one with a group of short pieces that had similar problems. It sounds like there were some threads that connected the stories thematically. I enjoyed reading your review.

Short story collections are tough--especially with the lack of change in "voice"... It would be easier if there were a character like Hemingway used with Nick Adams, so that the stories all had cohesion in one narrative voice, but the stories themselves were more varied and didn't attempt to be different characters' voices if that weren't going to be successful.

Sounds interesting. Short stories can sometimes be bone with no meat, bit it sounds like in total the author got his purpose across.

Short stories don't leave much scope for character development. Despite that, it seems you enjoyed reading this particular collection. Thanks for the review!
