Yes, this book is one to keep. You will find something new with each reread. The author gave each character good exposure, human and dog alike.

You will like Singer's song. Thanks for dropping by!

A story full of emotions and a unique spin to the way we view life in general, I suppose. I love your review and I hope the author will take your advice and get the book to be scrutinised by a good editor.

Great review! The book sounds like fun. It reminds me of another book I read (I'm trying to look it up) where dog owner's near death experience had him awakening as his dog for a few days. It was hilarious and of course the dog owner developed new respect for his dog, even before changing back!
There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates’ loot on Treasure Island!

Thanks for spending time with Singer. He is more than just a hound dog.

Wow, that must be one grand switch. It would be good to put ourselves in someone else's shoes (and paws) to foster better understanding.

Thanks for your valuable two cents!

This sounds like a lovely book--it kind of reminds me of a mashup of Marley and Me and The Art of Racing Through the Rain, both of which are incredible reads in their own right. XD I've read a few other reviews of this book, and most of them rated it high as well, so I now definitely have great expectations for it (although it's such a shame about the editing errors)! Thank you for your in-depth review, I thought it was very helpful :D

This sounds like such a great book! I am a proud dog mom of three shelter dogs and while they are not perfect, they are amazing.

I am certain this book would have my crying throughout, as I am a dog person, and all of my dogs as an adult have been shelter dogs. I love stories about the human canine connection and this one seems like I would happily overlook all the editing errors.

This is a touching story indeed. I hope you get to meet Singer soon.

Kudos for rescuing those poor pups; I'm sure they are eternally grateful.
