Great review. Themes in this book are indeed very compelling. I would like to read the full book after reading its sample.

The book is good for teenagers and not me. I'm a guru now and will recommend the book for such groups. However I may read it for the purpose of providing counselling to the youth. A good review. Thanks.

PLAYING HURT by Gerald Nardella

A book set in the 60's, about young adults, love affairs and sex? It feels like the kind of drama that I want to read. The first two chapters of the book sample already left me wanting more. Thanks.

This book sounds interesting. I like that it’s set in the 1960s. I also like the themes the book covers and the fact that it’s a character driven work. Thanks for your review.

The book about teenagers and their way to cop with social pressure seems interesting. The characters are relatable as we all have gone through this phase. The character of Brian seems interesting. I will like to read this book. Thank you.

I like the fact that the books comes out strongly and in detail to explain a topic that's so rarely discussed especially among parents and their kids.

I sampled the book on Amazon. The characters in the story have been portrayed interestingly well. The plot also moves in an interesting way. And this review has further enticed the feeling that this could be an engaging read. :D :D

Playing Hurt. This book has been reviewed with a unique ethical sense. The settings might have been in the 1960's, but the message remains inexhaustible till the end of time.

wow!! This book Playing Hurt by Gerald L Nardella sounds so perfect for me,, i just like the way the author puts it "... I see it being of particular interest to anyone looking to better understand the confusion towards sexuality felt by adolescents. It's a gem of a story, and remarkably moving."
It's a MUST READ. :) :)
WHAT A WONDERFUL REVIEW

Gerald Nardella's "Playing Hurt" sounds like a very moving book. I appreciate the author for addressing some tough adolescent topics that are sometimes swept underneath the rug. I especially like the interesting viewpoint of the effects of gender stereotypes on women and men. Thanks for the review!
