Complex characters grappling with personal difficulties at a crossroads in their lives - sounds like one to savour, looking forward to reading it.

This is a good story. At the beginning I was concerned about the football theme behind the story because I am not a big fan of football but it was not overly done...Izzy, an amazing character. Overall it was a great read

nice book. Izzy Campbell the lead character is a natural woman hence her quest for adventure making her vulnerable to the charms of Sean. Though this is as a results of her husband (Jim) alcoholism. The story is not that fascinating but enough to keep you reading to the last page.

It is great that that the plot wasn't disjointed, and that it wasn't bogged down by unnecessary details.Love these kind of stories where love and reason confront each other.thanks so much

Interesting story, and awesome review! I personally differ on fiction taste, so I'll give this a skip for now, but thanks for making me aware of this book!

Review gives lot of insight about this book, which has a good story with message especially for middle aged women. It seems like this book is well written, and with a quite engaging story of a woman called Izzy who had lots of adventures in her life with unstable family life.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Izzy sounds like she is at the point with her marriage where she is feed up. Looking for attention and getting it from Sean. Seems like this is the norm for some women to actually seek adventure and get out of their comfort zone. It would be interesting to see what she gets herself into. Sounds like an interesting book.

Based on the review, Keddie Hughes masterfully developed the characters and tied all of the subplots together into an engaging book for the reader.

Thanks for the review!

Small Change by Keddie Hughes sounds like an interesting book. The fact that the author was a psychologist probably adds to her emphasis on character development. Seems like Izzy has some really complicated decisions to make. Thanks for a concise review without giving away any spoilers. Congrats BOTD!

This seems to have all the making of a good story, it is one which a lot of people can relate to especially married folks or if you are close friends with a married person.
The review helps the matter a lot, well done! Subplots, praise for the weaving, characterisation all off the central theme above, only poor dialogue and uneven pacing can do any harm.
I am convinced this will make a good read. Congrats on #BOTD.

This book has a great plot. The storyline alone will make me read this book as I decipher Izzy's character and how she plots to leave her husband.I will recommend it to anyone who likes books with many themes.

A general fiction novel which speaks of a woman who is tired of the ways of her alcoholic husband and wants to try something else. This character-driven novel with a mix of themes will put you at the edge of your seat.
