This situation seems so true to life. How often do we see things in others, but when it happens to us, we don't recognize it until it is too late! Sounds interesting and I really like your comments on this book. Thanks.

I like the idea of well-depicted characters and also the challenging theme of abuse. It sounds like this book could have used some additional editing, however.
