Having read several 1-star books here myself, I feel greatly for you and pray your next book is a 4-star or better. Meanwhile, thanks for trudging through this and warning the rest of us.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I accidentally picked up a book by an author I've already read and didn't especially like. The one I read before this was so dry I had to keep a drink near me while reading. At least everyone will know something is truly great when I give it a high rating!
Ha ha ha ha haaa! I'll certainly keep an eye out for your future reviews!

Oh dear - it's such hard work writing about something with so many flaws. Perhaps there was a good intention behind this, but it's a great shame the author wasn't better advised. i hope you pick up something more enjoyable really soon.

Hey, bb587! Does bb stand for Big Brother, too?

I think your review is hands-down more interesting and coherent than the book. "Thou shalt not write with bad grammar." should be a strong contender for the 11th commandment.

:lol2: It certainly does not! Actually, it stands for Betty Boop. I've been a fan since I was young.

Thank you for the compliment!

Omg, I just can't even think of any explanation for so many errors. I think even if I wrote a book in French, which I took in high school, it would have less spelling and grammatical errors than this book. You poor thing for suffering through that. I especially like that the mom was 9 when her oldest child was born according to the ages provider for each of the characters. This is such a good review. The one-star reviews are always my favorite. Or in your case, the ZERO STAR! I look forward to more of your reviews and hope to see more stars on the next one.

Thanks so much for your informative review. I really appreciate all the details you give about why a book deserves such a low rating. Apparently, this writer is good at picking titles and attractive book covers! Looks like the rest is downhill from there. Great job on persevering and sharing with the rest of us.

The book seems to have a few good points but are minute compared to the multiple errors discussed in your review. The mother has such a minor role in their lives because she's just looking for a good time and hasn't grown up herself. I read a book once that was similar to these errors and you spend more time trying to understand the author's point than enjoying the book.

*pats you sympathetically* I hope the next book you read is better than this one--I salute you for pulling through this book and writing the review! :P The plot seems interesting enough, but the spelling and grammar errors...it's a wonder you were able to finish the story at all, gosh.

Thank you for the review :)--it was really illuminating, and I don't think I'll pick this book up anytime soon, oops.

Though the story could have be o.k but the poor formatting led this book to score low, may be author improve upon these weak points and republish the book
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
