The title of the book is "The Maple Seed Helicopter" by Marco Collina. It was just published not too long ago, in the year 2020, a year of great devastation globally. It is a story of separation, adventure, twists and turns, reflections, family and kindness. It is set in a narrative tone, and, actually, you can feel like you are hearing Marco's voice, so don't worry- you are not alone while reading this book.

It is set on both sea and land, and it touches not only Italy, but also the USA, Rio de Janeiro, and other places. It is not still like a dam and lake. It is like the great River Nile, constantly on the move with all its meandering pathways. Are you unsure of a book to read? Don't hesitate; just sit back, relax and enjoy!

The story begins in an Italian orphanage. There are four friends, three boys and a girl; their names are Marco, Dario, George, and Isabelle. Many people have never lived in orphanages, and the experiences there can be quite lonely for many of the kids. These kids decide to become like a family, to avoid just that. The boys find the orphanage environment kind of stifling, and they are bright. They must have watched Prison Break - but oh no! Prison Break was not there during their time. They manage a successful escape, and one thing leads to another. They found a great silver lining out of a displeasing experience. What was the silver lining?

Marco, now grown up, is quite ambitious and restless. He discovers his life is not meant for land and he wants to explore the world through the sea. On their journey to Rio de Janeiro. Something happens; he notices something that seems quite odd. One thing leads to another, a man who has never had a relationship with girls, let alone women, finds someone special. He kind of feels like the girl is playing hard to get. Will he get the girl he desires, or will it, like the great River Nile, meander into a completely different situation? Kindly buy the book and find out; you won't regret the money spent.

What I liked about the book is the fact that the book is quite interesting; once you start reading, you won't be tempted to put the book down. The book is also set in a multicultural environment; the author used some words and phrases in Italian and Portuguese. I feel that he should provide the translations of all the foreign words into English. The book has a nice flowing rhythm and is also full of valuable life lessons.

There is nothing I disliked about the book. Even though I feel the author could have introduced pictures and illustrations to show some beautiful sceneries, he encountered.

There is no one I won't recommend this book to. It is a very nice read.

I would recommend this book to children even though it has no pictures. It has nice lessons like the story of the ant and cricket. I would also recommend it to those who like good stories and managers of children's homes. They should learn to run it well so the children don't feel rejected, imprisoned, and feel like escaping. The narrator has also done a good deal in taking us through various sightseeing tours wherever the journey leads.

I give the book a perfect 5 out of 5. It was professionally edited, and I did not encounter a single grammatical error or typo. It can be practically read by everyone. It has no foul words. Therefore, parents, don't worry when you find your kid reading this book. The book has a nice flow and a good ending. By the way, what is the origin of the book's title?
