There's nothing extraordinary about her love affair or the men in her life, or her discovery of her love for art.

Great review. I like that Keith is bold enough to make bold decisions like changing one's name. The book sounds to me like a typical love story with a lady torn between two men, trying to decide whom to settle for.

I like flawed characters, they make stories more human. I usually don't like romances, but if this one is more than a romance, than I am in. I will have to see for myself.

This sounds very nice. Thanks for the wonderful review. The author must have put a lot of effort into the production of this book. It was hard to tell from the book title what the genre is but it is now good that I know.

This is a beautiful review! I want to grab a copy of the book now! I love books that are hard to put down once you started reading. This romance novel sounds like an aesthetically pleasing read.

The types of love we feel are as varied as the people who experience it, as is the art that explores variety of themes.

This is romantic fiction with hints of betrayal, loneliness and jealousy. The plot is extremely captivating and the onlinebookclub review of the book was written masterfully. I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars and congrats on being the BOTD.

This might be good for a rainy day. I'm not usually drawn to seductive books, but this one sounds interesting.

I will be reading this book to know how the love triangle ended. It's also interesting she discovered she doesn't need a lover to fulfill her life. Thank you for the great review.

In a moment of clarity, Sadie Lee Celestine realized that her name wasn’t her own. She had been named for each of her grandmothers to keep the peace between them. She decided that she would be called Keith James, and from then on that was her name. As a freshman at the University of Toronto, Keith discovers her true passion for art. Author Marjorie Vernelle tells a story of love, loneliness, betrayal, and jealousy in Beautiful Imperfections.
Though how you describe Sadie/Keith's journey makes the book sound interesting, I am not a fan of romance and the amount of times she mentions me and their hair in the first few pages tells me this is not my kind of read.

Thanks for the review!
