"The Curious Journey of Biscuit Boy: Life Full of Magic, Joy, and Endless Possibilities" by Hamid Oudi is a heartwarming book of resilience and self-discovery. This book introduces us to Biscuit, who magically came to life from one of the doughs of Mrs. Sweetman’s biscuit. As a curious and energetic toddler and under the guidance of Mrs. Sweetman, Biscuit's passion for baking grew. Right from his childhood and growing into a teenager, Biscuit couldn’t help but struggle with feeling different and out of place amongst his peers, but he learned to embrace his individuality. His unique ability to connect with others through baking became his superpower. Transitioning into adulthood, Biscuits decided to pursue a career in culinary arts because he wanted to carve a name for himself in the baking world. There he met the love of his life, Lila, who made him grow into a confident young man, and together they created a life filled with love and family. They shared the same dreams, and together they actualized these dreams but not without facing challenges along the way. They named their bakery “Biscuit Bliss,” and it became more than just a business but rather where families come to celebrate love.

I truly enjoyed this read. It was a simple and straightforward read that is free from any grammatical errors. I loved how the author was able to make this book not just about baking but rather about finding your place in a world and embracing your uniqueness. We learn that being different doesn’t mean that you don’t belong; rather, the connections we make with others can be just as powerful as the families we're born into. I also enjoyed the personality of all the characters. I admired how resilient Biscuit is, and I enjoyed watching his growth from being an insecure child to a successful baker and a family man. I also loved the character of Mrs. Sweetman, whose warmth and wisdom shaped the early life of Biscuit. 

This book can be enjoyed by both children and adults and deserves a 5 out of 5. There is nothing to dislike; it is full of life lessons, which makes it a perfect read for anyone. Those who enjoy two-hour short stories would love this book.

I like that Buscuits pursued his career in culinary arts and put his name in the baking world and I actually want to know what life with Lila would be for Buscuits.

I love how Biscuit grows from an insecure child to a confident adult who finds success and love through his passion. Mrs. Sweetman’s mentorship and the message about the power of connection make this book seem like a feel-good, uplifting read. I’m definitely considering picking this one up for its positive themes and straightforward storytelling.
