It's one think to read historical work about a tragedy and another to read personal, emotional, real stories about the massacre. Generational trauma is real. I love that the author shares so many perspectives and shows how people are still coping with the loss and tragic aftermaths. Thanks for sharing your review, I want to read this book for sure.
