I was first of the impression that this book is more of kid's stuff. But upon reading the review, I am amazed that the book deals more on emotional matters, and touches somewhat on metaphysical aspects of life. There is more to the book than what the cover tries to imply. Thanks to the interesting review.

It does sound like a book a cancer survivor can relate to, or anyone who has lost someone to cancer, or had a family member who survived. Seems like there's a lot to learn from this book, although I'm not sure about the religious aspect involved for people who don't believe, such as myself. Thanks for your insight and I'm glad to hear that you beat cancer.

I am going to pass on this one as I don't think I can stomach after death stories. Anyway those who love it will enjoy as it seems quite intense. Thanks for your review.

I don't think that the book is for me. I promised myself a long time ago that I would not read any books about cancer. I always found such books really depressing and I always hated the books. So though I find the subject of what happens after we die interesting I will not read this story.

The Lord is our healer and the Lord is our comforter. The cancer menace is very alarming but I trust that with such books, relieve will be brought to the victims. Thanks for the review.

A beautiful review, but you did not reveal abit of what happened at the life beyond to arouse ones interest more. I love this and would be glad to read the full story.

When I first came across this book's title and cover, I thought it was a children's book. After reading the review, it's quite the contrary. I'll be giving it a pass though, because while I understand the reasoning behind it in terms of how death affects us, I don't believe in life after death. Thus, I wouldn't relate to the book's contents. Thanks for the review.

I don't think the cover and storyline go together. This looks like a very emotional book because it centers around Nicole, a young girl who passed away from cancer. The review was nicely written. Congrats to the author for winning BOTD.

When pigs fly. What a curious tittle. And what a curious cover. A book about a journey after death that gives confort to those left behind. I'm in. Congratulations.

The journey of a young girl after her death sounds like a sad story. However, it gives the reader a lot to ponder. What happens to the loved ones and even the individual after death? This isn't a subject I'll like to dwell on. Thanks anyway for your review, I enjoyed it.

A surprising title! The title and the story about afterlife seems to be interesting. Though i'm not really interested in reading this one. I'm glad the reviewer enjoyed it. I wish others will also enjoy this book. Congrats to the author.

Thanks for the detailed and insightful review, Mary. The writing style of the book is so vivid and descriptive, it captivated me till my eyes were moist with emotions at young Nicole's memories of her family and friends. May God give you strength and courage to enjoy many more happy years, Mary.
