I'm glad this book won't let us occasionally visit Mr. Google and the Thesaurus family. I laud the author for the flawless masterpiece, and the reviewer for the superb review.

Books that use excessive military words irritate me as I know very little of them. So that was a definite plus in my book. Thanks!

I really like and enjoy your reviews, as far as I remember on one of your reviews I made my very first comment. I can see that you really have enjoyed this book and I will definitely take your word into account. The plot seem very engaging specially when the main protagonists was made for something and ended up been something else. Definitely on my bookshelf! Thank you Kands!

Are there photos included in the book or are the photo scenes just described with vivid realism to place readers in the moment?

I always pay attention when you give a book a four, especially if it is one that I would have given an off-handed pass. But when you talk in such glowing terms about that book...well, that is rare. I will have to download a sample to see what I think. Thanks for the review.

No photos. But the scenes are described very vividly. You can easily picture what's going on.

Great review, so very on point! I've read the book and absolutely loved it. I am not affiliated in any way with the military, so I was unsure at first if I would enjoy or even understand the storyline. In my opinion, I believe anyone can read this book and relate to it in one way or another. Such a fantastic read and thanks again for the review and I look forward to reading your other book recommendations!

Thanks for a well-written, thorough review. Considering the subject matter, it's nice that the author didn't sprinkle the text with military jargon and acronyms without making them easy to understand. Glad you enjoyed the book!
