This looks funny. I love the quotation you pulled from the Politics chapter. May have to give this a try. Thanks for the great review!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

OK..the review was so good especially about the masterminders solving the cases of global warming and politics. I'd like to read this book to know how the cases were later solved.
Thank you.

The review was fascinating. I'm looking forward to that chapter on politics sounds intriguing as well as the part that discusses women's trouble and global warming. All together the reviewer did a good job.

It sounds like the author did a good job putting this one together. I like the idea of each chapter having its own problem for the boys to solve. Quite the plot twist in the middle of the book to have Bobby’s diagnosed with a terminal illness amidst the humorous nature. Sounds interesting. Thanks for this insightful review.

Your review makes it all sounds like great fun, and the free sample for today seems to live up to that promise. Not so sure about all the mistakes being eliminated, though - is it just me, or is there a page missing from the online sample? Anyway, the comparison with Adrian Mole seems quite apt, though I would say that this one's a little gutsier.

I love books with humor, no matter how little. I think that's what I'll enjoy more about this book, not the global warming and politics problem solving. Thanks.

This sounds like a really enjoyable read. I'm always looking for funny, witty material and it's interesting that it delves into real world problems. Plus, I really like the cover art.

Tara Basi has done a great thing to produce this book "Masterminders". Te themes found in it are also relevant especially in the 21st century. Global warming and Women politics are some of them. I also like the featuring of the catholic nuns especially in the first chapter. A great book.

The plot and humor you mention make it sound like a good read, but I have to agree that the target age group seems to be a younger range. After reading the sample, I can say this doesn't appeal to me now, but it probably would have appealed to a younger me. Thank you for the review, I'll have to keep this in mind for anyone looking for humorous recommendations for a younger audience.

The review of the book makes me think of comic book schoolboys that I read as a child. When I read it I will be interested to see whether it conjures up similar images to those comics>

Masterminders by Tara Basi : Great book for adventurous boys who wants to experiment. The author has a unique way of telling the story in boys language. Story about friendship and how these boys get to solve some challenging issues in their life. The scenes are told in artistic details and are fast paced. Good for boys ages 9 to 12 years. I'll give this book a 3 stars :) :) :)
