Every person who went to Potters Ville Church got changes in their lives. Tobias, a teenage daughter who has a difficulty of understanding her position as a Christian. She finds the true meaning of faith upon hearing Pastor Elijah. Her father is an Irish Catholic while her mother is a Baptist Christian. To whom, she will stand her faith? If she cannot attend church with his father on Sunday morning, then she is required to attend church with her mother during the afternoon church service. How could she establish her faith when her parents have opposite beliefs about God? Unfortunately, an accident happened that tested Tobias faith after hearing a common prayer of her mother, Rita. This accident is Tobias turning point to believe that God answers prayer at the moment she least expected.
Prayers of the Righteous written by Sylvia Cuttino under the other-fiction genre will encourage the readers to pray without ceasing. God answers the prayers of the faithful believer who earnestly seek Him. This book will teach the reader to value their prayer life. Prayer is a constant communication with God, not just at the moment of emergencies but at all times.
Since prayer is the vital breath of a Christian, what is your favorite part of your prayer journey? Indeed, God answers prayers by yes, no, and wait. He answers “yes” by allowing your prayers to happen. Sometimes, God answers “no” because the best thing is yet to come. He will answer “wait” when we pray for us to have patience on His perfect timing. Each one of us has different problems, trials, and battles in life. How do you manage your own problems? Remember, the Prayer of the Righteous man is powerful.
I admire the author’s plot of the story. It started with Tobias curiosity by finding the image she longed for. The most intriguing part of the story is about how rivals came and try to bring the downfall in Tobias life. The guardian angel of the story also gives excitement to the story.
This book has nineteen chapters with short stories that will encourage the readers to enhance their prayer life. The writing style is good as well as the title of each chapter adds excitement to the book. I found a few typos, but it does not distract me. The character of the Angels is my negative comment because they might create confusion as they tend to double the rule of the main characters, yet it didn’t hinder me to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I will recommend this book to the religious groups of people.
