Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! Also, for the newbies, welcome to the forums. :) Although I prefer a faster pace, I still enjoyed the book. The characters were developed well and I became quite attached to them over the course of the story.

I like the honesty of your review. I also find it distracting when an author adds too much information that may take away from the overall story. However, I am glad the Reel Sisters was able to captivate your interest nonetheless. I think you are right when you say that the topic of fly fishing may be unique. This actually makes me want to read the book.

I just started reading this a few days ago and so far so good. I am highlighting things that I like about the book. I actually like the details about tricks she uses to catch her fish (just in case I might want to try it sometime). Thanks for the review...looking forward to finishing the rest.

I don't know much about fishing or fly fishing but I love different approach to women's outing not to mention the bond among these characters. Great review.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to read my review. :) The fly fishing sport is certainly a unique theme in a novel. I really liked learning about a sport I knew very little about.

Thank you for the honest review. This book reminds me of the bond my mother shares with some older women in her small town who fish the local reservoir for rainbow trout. Sounds like a wonderful read.
