I've never had a dog before, but this story sounds heart-touching, specially since it's told from the dog's perspective. It's cute to see that this book got you emotional. :) great review!

I'm wary of cute dog books. I love my fur baby, but I know my time with him is limited. I don't want to feel that hurt reading about other dogs in books!

This is such a cute idea. As a dog lover, I'm looking forward to reading what the world looks like from this "dog's" perspective.

I can see how, with dog's sense of time (or specifically, lack thereof), it kind of makes sense that there's no real order to it, actually.

Thank you for the excellent review.

I think the reviewer isn’t a dog person because a dog person would know a dog only has moments not narratives. Even though I feel the reviewer didn’t speak to highly of this book it sounds good.

Thank you for your in-depth review of Shellbee’s Story by Jennifer Flynn-Campbell, PhD. It sounds like a unique concept in which the collection of letters is written by a black Labrador. Someone who loves dogs might enjoy this, but this would not appeal to me as I prefer cats.

Great review. Good concept. Not sure it's one I would read. I'll give it a try because I love animals.

Me, being the crazy cat lady with dozens of cats, a few small K-9s whom the cats think are ok, a handful of birds, horses and other four legged critters who abound at my abode, LOVES stories about animals! ;) Especially when done in the animal's pov. Interesting that the reviewer didn't like the almost episodic-like type of storytelling whereas I think this is probably more like how an animal lives life, moment to moment, not necessarily in one long storyline... just a thought.

A book written as if by a dog, sounds most intriguing. I'm a cat person myself so I'd prefer a cats perspective; still it sounds like it would be a good read.

While this is a sweet idea, it's not my cup of tea. I'm not much for kids books or feel good cute books. I bet there are a lot of people out there who would love this premise though. Thanks for the review.

I like the narrative that conveys one's love for a dog. I equally like dogs as a pet and would like to read the book. Nice review.
