What a great review.. I know the drama will be interesting due to rivalry. Reading it wont be a bad idea.

This sounds like an interesting coming of age story about a girl who is orphaned at a young age, when she is old enough to know what she wants but also young enough to change as the story progresses. It is good to know that this is a short story as that means it would be a quick read, though I note that some ideas are not as developed as they would be in a longer work.

I like the plot of the story as you have presented in your review. I can immediately see the theme of unpredictable especially with the deaths of both parents. There were parts of the review that confused me. The major points being what the name of the youngest sister was and who Carrie is. I like that the story is short, but with substance. I agree with your suggestion that there should be more information between the story and the epilogue.

A well-written review that makes me curious about how the characters and their relationships grow throughout the story. I have a much younger sister and I can't imagine what I would do if anything ever happened to our parents, but I know that I would help take care of her no matter what. Because of this, I feel like I could empathize with either of the two siblings. Definitely seems like an interesting read.

I have looked at this book and agree with the reviewer's mind on the book.
I consider the two siblings as people facing life as one would do as a first timer, using a compass in a dense forest.
The person's as mentioned in the review, especially Jessie, fully describe their character .
Thanks for the great review.

"Without spoiling the story, I
can tell you that you will not be
able to predict how the story ends,
yet there will be times in the story
that you think that you have this
one down, only to find yourself
wrong." These lines got me because when reading is good to always try to get to a point and be thinking you have got the whole text not knowing there more to explore.

Unpredictability? This is an inviting theme to read for me, for life itself is iffy. Besides, the author has a good reputation building characters. I'm not sure this one is for me due to the sexual content, though. Thanks for the review!

Quite an unpredictable and touching, plot. It serves to reveal how low several humans can sink to even make casual;the bond of blood.

The unpredictability of this character-drive story intrigues me. However, I am more interested reading full-length novels vs. short stories or novellas.
