Great review, a book that can be themed as unpredictable is major yes for me, just hope the gap between the main story and epilogue doesn't hit me as hard as it hit you

I read a sample of this book, and I just couldn't get into it. I think I'll have to pass on this one.

A story of tragedy, marking the making of an already tumultuous young adults journey through life, feeling unwanted and out of place. Not only is this story of the growth of the young lady through her loss, but the young woman who finally relents to giving the girl a chance at a home no one else was willing to give. The turmoil of taking on someone else's child, just in the verge of adult hood, while trying all the while to find herself. I love that this story is less predictable then most, good twists always keep me wanting more. Looking forward to a good read. :)

I'm curious to know if the family ties in the book make it read more slowly than if it had other kinds of relationships? I know you said she falls for men too early, but the way you described it after that makes it seem as though that is not the focal point of the story.

Sounds like the author needs to consult a good developmental editor to help them flesh this out into a full story.

Thank you for a great review CatIntheHat. I agree both sisters are very immature. It was sad that no one Carrier and the 2 older ones did not want to financially help raise. That is why as parents you need a good will.
Thanks William.

I think the storyline is Okay. However, with my busy schedule, I doubt it will hold my interest long enough to finish reading it. Thanks for the well written review

Unpredictable sibling characters that take different paths after unforeseen family tragedy lays the tracks for new leader in the annals of literary fiction. I'm looking forward to checking this one out.

This definitely seems very unpredictable, and as it is just a short story I'm sure it'd be a quick read. Congrats on BOTD to the author.

Nice review. It seems like an interesting story with such lessons that teach us to extend our love and understanding to those who are in need of care and guidance.

Initially, I wasn't very interested in the plot of this book, but you mention that it's unpredictable so now I'm a little curious. I guess I have to sample the book before making a decision. Great job on your review!

Great review. The storyline sounds interesting and I am already curious about the characters based off your description. Unpredictable is a theme that also sparks my interest. I haven't read many books with it as a focus. Thank you for sharing.

The book touches very relatable topics. Not feeling wanted is a very familiar feeling most young adults have. The unpredictable nature of the book is intriguing. However, this book is not my type. Thanks for the great review.

I agree with you about most authors are tend to be predictable. When you said unpredictable, I accept this challenge for this book to surprise me. Good review!
