Nice review. I hate big plot gaps once I get invested in characters!

Thanks for the review! I appreciate your heads up on sexual content! Sister Carrie seems like a very intriguing read and I hope those who do read enjoy.

This isn't my cup of tea, but your review was insightful. Too bad that the author didn't add more story. Maybe this can be fixed later on, and the author can lengthen the story from a short to a novel. It sounds as if there is enough story left to tell. I'm glad you enjoyed the read. Thanks for the review!

I like the siblings' story. Trying to make the most out of life after the tragedy. It's a book I would want to read.

Definitely looking reading this one. It looks like there is more than meets the "eye" (synopsis) to this story. I enjoy books that are unpredictable and keep me guessing.

I feel the review is fairly done. I wish I would hear much of the content about the story. Otherwise congrats on being BOTD.

Sister Carries is an interesting story. In the beginning I wasn't sure that this story is for me, but then I started to get into the flow and I have to admit it was pretty good. The entire time while I was reading, I kept guessing what will happen in the next chapter and surprised that the story takes different turn than the usual flow. This story managed to bring out the value of family, trust, and love. Despite grammatical errors, this book is worth reading.

It sounds interesting, especially the fact that it follows two very different sisters and shows both of their lives rather than one or the other. However, I'm hesitant since the review suggests some sort of lacking. Thank you for the thorough and honest review.

Sounds like a good book. As for the sexual content does it go into great detail? The last story I read was way to sexual and I don't want to get into another one like that. Thanks for the great review.

I really liked this review and I also was intrigued, especially by the unpredictability aspect. The book sounds really good and I was surprised after reading the review that it wasn’t given four stars because the way the reviewer talked about it sounded like she should have. Thanks for a good review, in any case.

I enjoyed this story. It definitely did not develop the way I expected it to. I think that it could be made into a full length novel, or maybe part of a series of short stories.

Sounds like an interesting read. This author usually develops his characters well, so I expect he has achieved it again. It is a shame the story sounds too short to tidily complete the story, but I will give this book a go.

The book totally shows how we should always expect the unexpected from life. I find myself understanding Carrie to a certain degree and that makes the story even more interesting.

This sounds really good, but I too am often disillusioned by books of a shorter length. They rarely manage to bring the story to a satisfying conclusion, in my opinion. I am looking forward to discovering the unpredictable element in the story. It does make it sound like it makes reading this worthwhile. Thanks for your insight!
