The best way to learn something is through enjoyment. I love the premise of this book but would like to know more about the author before I decide whether his wisdom is worth learning. Thanks for the great review.

It seems the protagonist undergoes a lot of growth and character development which I believe is really important in a novel. It's a shame about the run on sentences as that does really impact the quality of the writing. I'm glad you enjoyed it overall though. Great review!

I read the first few pages and found the main character to be anoyingly self centered. I am glad to hear that he improves during the story.

Its a nice story as for me an asian.. Life gets tough everyday.. But I agree humbleness doesnt fit the construction of the sentence itself.. Humility and Compassion would be great choice for it.. And as for me I have taken this story as a "Journey on finding one's self" ..because on his journey he met 3 equally different person that one thing or the other somewhat made him think differently, gave him more mature perspective and taught him simple but real things that he probably didnt imagine that it can affect him as a person and a whole being.. That taught me theres a lot more precious in this world than seeing and thinking yourself BIG..
But over all since im an asian and we are known to be hospitable, and emotional at the same time I enjoyed the lesson life taught them ( each and every character in the story) so im giving this Book Dancing with Sophia a 4 stars..(lowest is 1 and the highest are 5)..

I have been getting more into stories like this lately, so this might be worth a read for me. I'll just have to put it aside until I have more time since my "to read" list is never-ending. Thank you for the honest review.

I don't gravitate toward this genre, I liked your review of this book though. I read the sample, and it didn't convince me to change my usual tendencies and read it. I did like that the main character saw this beautiful woman, then lose her, only to meet her father and go through a spiritual journey to find her. Thanks for the review.

As the story unfolds, you learn more about Baingana and the underlying causes of his behavior. I wish the author had given the reader more of a sense of him before the action unfolded. Thanks for your reply.

It’s always nice to read inspirational novels. Hopefully the author will have it re-edited.

Today's #BOTD sounds like a wonderful read. I enjoy books of this nature because I love being part of a journey in which the main character changes and grows throughout; it motivates me to seek out something similar for myself. Thank you so much for your review! Keep up the great work! :-)

Sadly I know many men like the man character but it sounds like he is about to go in an enlightening journey with Sophia.
