jsphllkn2017 wrote:I read this book, too, and I have to say I'm shocked by your rating! I found so many issues with the plot and pacing, I was simply frustrated by the end and couldn't wait to be done with it. I failed to see the connection between quite a few plot lines, and I also felt the characterization was incredibly lacking, things just happened at random. Glad you liked it though.
This goes back to a response I gave to another reviewer :wink2: People have different responses to literature. Reviews, by nature, will be subjective. I could easily see how the different plots interwove with ease but as I cannot reveal spoilers here, cannot explain that in the review. I thought the characterization was incredible, and was impressed by how several of the characters developed throughout the story.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I must add this to my Want to read list. It doesn't sound like it would be disappointing. Plus the characters looks appealing.

What happens when a Lawyer get married to a Doctor? Dramatic, isn't it.

For all mystery lovers out there, this is not bad Catch. They had to deal with so many issues because of their different careers. It's quite upsetting for the little child, but what can they do?. They kept tangible secrets from each other, that's a terrible thing to do.

It's very interesting, so it won't make me change my mind. I rate it 4 out of 4.

I am currently reading the book. I find it interesting. Though, the part I resent is the deposition of the lady(under age lady) pastor(Mr. Hower) allegedly defiled. I like the review!

I rate 3 out 4 stars. There is no flow. This things just happen randomly.
