Great review. I am glad you liked it. However, this book is not my cup of tea. I'll have to pass this one. Thank you for sharing.

It’s great to see Coles has done it yet again with another book that shares some interesting relationships while exploring some great themes.

I saw the title and bizarrely thought this would be a self-help book about materialism or overspending. I’m glad to see it’s a story about relationships and all the layers to them. Great review.

Thanks for your review! I like how well researched the book is. Having realistic legal, medical, and religious processes help make the book more immersive and realistic. I'm curious to see which relationships and marriages are able to stay strong. I wonder how Lucy's case will end and what its circumstances are. Many televangelists are disreputable so I'm sure the case is an exciting one!

Wow. I definitely need to get this book, especially with how the sample ended combined with your review. I'm dying to know what happened.

This sounds like a good read with lots of different story lines and complexities to keep the reader interested. It also seems to explore the best and worst of people - corruption, greed and selfishness balanced against honesty, integrity and selflessness. I look forward to reading it!

I'm really glad you mentioned how the author did research into the three main fields covered in the book. A book that lacks quality research can turn me off an author or publisher since it seems to indicate the author or publisher doesn't care about checking their work.

Great review! I wasn’t sure to make of this book but by the sounds of your review it seems like it is well written with many different layers. I’m excited to add this to my bookshelf.

I can see how the title might make one think that!

I read the sample excerpt from this book having no clue what the book was about. Initially I noticed much fast paced conversation leading to where or what I wasn't sure. I knew there had to be a reason Luke received a ride home from Lucy that night. I was also a bit bummed the sample ended after the crash which left them mangled in the ditch but no expounding on whether anyone or who survived. Enlightenment came in reading this full review. I am almost tempted to read the complete book but not sure I want to tackle the legal read side of it. I'm also kind of partial to my mystery paranormal/ghost stories.

Thank you for your review. It sounds like an intriguing novel about a relationship with a man that is not what it seems and how difficult it is to let someone go in a relationship. The legal, medical and religious themes paint an interesting background, but I'm afraid that this novel is not for someone like me.
