@MarisaRose Yes, I agree, it is rather dark. There were some uncomfortable moments for me as well (especially some explicit sex scenes which, due to the characters being high at the time, didn't really translate to something positive and erotic. But still, for me, it was a good book to read.

@Cyril Stephano Lissu Indeed, that is also a great audience for this particular book. They will find lots of useful information pieces that can increase their understanding of drug addicts and help them accordingly.

Good review.

I'm also of the opinion that a book with a very painful or touching storyline shouldn't have a rushed ending. It usually feels like being thrown in a hole and left there to find your way out. :x

Too bad that Luke's parents were so lenient as to overlook their son's near death. Apart from that particular hiccup from the parents, I think the book is an eye opener to many.

I enjoyed reading your insightful review. :) It's pretty disturbing that the parents aren't too concerned about their son's addiction. I can see your point that more time should have been devoted to the guy's recovery, especially in a long book.

This is more of a conversation than a book. What is this all about?

That subtitle alone piqued my interest. Sounds like a heavy but worthwhile read. Thanks for a great review.

I have learnt a lot on drugs from your review. It seems like it's a problem very much with us.

Wow, you have so many official reviews. Hopefully, I'll get some tips while reading your work.

The title caught me and I didn't connect it to drugs.
Interesting stuff about plant-based medicine.

Thanks for stopping by my review.
