I feel bad when the writers can't match up to the expectation in contrast to the idea of the story. Nevertheless great job with the review ReviewerDiksha. Keep it up.

Funny enough, I would have picked this because I am interested in Cuban history. Too bad. :( Thanks for the informative review.

I, too, picked it because I thought it'd have something about the Cuban Revolution. It didn't :?

Maybe the author will give it a second go - it sounds like it would be worth it.
This plot reminds me of a certain show, I can't remember the name. Great review Diksha.

Thank you Julius. I'd like to know about the show this plot reminds you of. If you do place the show, please tell me as well. :D

I found your review engaging - it was probably more engaging than the book itself! Really pity that the book doesn't hold one's interest.

I like reading about books that use historical events. I had thought there would be something about Cuba's history in it. It is not  thanks for pointing that out. The review is very well-written. You did a great job bringing out the essence of the book ReviewerDiksha.

I share your feelings, ShivaniS. I too had picked this book because I was intrigued with the history of Cuba. I haven't read much about it and I thought this book would enlighten me. Though it is a good book in other context, if history is your main concern, don't go further on that basis. Thank you for appreciating the review.

You present some really good insights in the review. I wish there had been something about the revolution, I would have loved to read it. It does seem interesting though. I guess I will give it a go.

I enjoyed reading your review. This seems good, though I too would have enjoyed reading about the revolution but I think the writer was aiming for something else. You have made somethings pretty clear though. We now know what to expect from this book.

Thank you for the review Diksha. I wanted to read this book but now I think, well if I might get a better book to read, I'll give my time to it.
