Even though I didn't enjoy this story, objectively I had to agree with your 4 out of 4. The author has created an unforgettable, well-drawn character, and has some clever satire in there. Hanna is definitely talented, even if he's not everyone's cup of tea (including mine).

I am glad you enjoyed the book, but after sampling it, I am sure it is not exactly my kind of book. I only wish Pomeroy's derisive attitude were not expressed in such a crude and sexualized language. Thank you for your review, though.

Interesting story narrating about Pomeroy who plays music at the street to earn a living in humorous way. Life is difficult but from the character of Pomeroy, he seems to live life to the fullest.

Thank you for writing such a lovely review. I appreciate the warnings about the non-pc way the main character speaks and acts. I would probably get angry with him if I were to read this book. Lol I am very glad that there is such a wide selection of books to choose from. I will give the first chapter a look. I'll probably eat my own words and end up loving it! :)

Despite the blunt language used in the book, the book is bearable. Call me Pomeroy expresses the reality of the life of the life were living, especially in the political field.I feel the book might have been better without the crude language, so out of 4,I will give 3.

We could use a little comedy to spice up the doldrums in our lives. I hope this novel works as what the review has enthusiastically endorsed. And I hope, further, to love the humor in this one. I always go for humorous books, for the delightful situational comedy, satire, pun, and witticism. Thanks for the fine review.

This is just honestly naive and hilariously true, I mean the satire about politics and the way things are going. 'Ol Pomeroy is just the kind of folk hero needed for people to see through the mist of hypocrisy, narcissistic and vain in his self-worth, but bloody honest. I got quite hooked by just reading the sample. Thanks for the interesting review.

The character of Pomeroy ,the way you described him, reminds me of Dr. House in the tv series. Though I like to give this comical book a try, it doesn't seem to be one of my best genres to read immediately. Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the review!
