Thanks for the review, this seems like a very symbolic and well through-out plot. When an ending is abrupt, it can leave you feeling like you are hanging a bit, however, you seem to think it is minor compared to the rest of the novel.

I like your review. Although I would never use an audio book (too slow) I might recommend this book to a friend who can no longer read. The book does sound interesting. Thanks!

This seems like a fascinating book. I really can't wait to continue reading this one. The Indian legends, the scenery, and the characters all seem very captivating. I definitely want to know more about Sarah after the reading the official review.

I love when I’m able to visualize the scenes in a book! This sounds like an interesting adventure.

It will be interesting to see how Sarah's relationship with her grandfather will develop. I'm curious to know what actually happens to Sarah when she disappears. I also like the Native American element in this story because I like learning about new cultures. It's too bad that the ending is apparently lacking, but still sounds like interesting read. Thanks for the review.

This seems like a really interesting story! I love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest - I'm sure it's a great backdrop for a story of self-discovery like this. Thanks for the thoughtful review!

I might check this one out. I wonder what Sarah's story is and how it connects to the main plot. I would read it, though, not listen to it. I don't enjoy listening to audio books since it makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason. Thank you for the review.

Lovely review! I used to do a ton of audiobooks when I was marathon training. This one seems to have a lot of imagery and spirit. Not enough fantasy for me, but the legends sound awesome!

I'm glad that you liked the book overall, despite your issue with the ending. Thanks for the review.

I'm not really much into outdoor adventures and definitely not a fan of expletives. Although there was an interesting piece referencing a character's ancestral background within the sample that I did find enjoyable.

Lovely review. I believe I started to read this book many months back. For some reason, I was unable to finish it at the time. I believe I own it so I can go back to it at any time. I don't know why I couldn't read it at the time. I do know that it wasn't because I wasn't interested. It seemed like a very nice book.

I like this one so far. As Sarah learns about her family so do you. You form the bonds right along with her. Great review.

Based on this review, the book sounds interesting enough. However I wish the reviewer would have said more on why they felt the 8 day disappearance of Sarah seemed like it was much longer during her retelling of the time she was gone.

Interesting how there isn't much background for the characters - I find that when a personal connection can be drawn, I tend to enjoy the novel more. However, I'm glad that it wasn't a big problem for you, and being a big adventure/msytery fan, I'm excited to get into this!

Thank you for your thoughtful review. I listen to audiobooks when I work and on long drives. The narrator does make all the difference.
