This sounds like an amazing story. Darwin had a lot of unusual thing's happen to him in his life. I don't usually like this type of book, but this one has me intrigued.

I'm not sure a coming of age story is my cup of tea, there is usually too much strife for my enjoyment. Thank you for this great review though!

I really enjoyed the introduction to this, hoping to read more about Darwin and how his life progresses.

Such a lesson to be learnt! Regardless of been rich it reflects the reality that person has to face. "Life is uncertain but death is certain". The powerful story behind this plot stated my Mr. Cole is truly amazing that it is very touching and reflects upon been realistic. I profoundly love Mr. Coles book and have reviewed couple of them. Thank you for sharing this book! And thank you for your descriptive review.

This sounds like a story of how a young man has to grow up fast. He has to learn how to live in a cruel world. I like how the story starts, and would like to read more to see how it will end. Great review.

I'm intrigued by the time-span the book covers! That seems like a long time. The sample was very interesting, I think I'm going to have to read this one!

Excellent review! I like complex story but honestly it sometimes lead to misunderstanding about the story.
But your review made a good impression of it. Thanks! :tiphat:

I really enjoyed the banter of the old woman on the plane, especially when she said why he shouldn't listen to music. That really got me laughing. We all know characters like her.

Thank you for your review. I enjoyed reading the sample pages of this book. It sounds like, from your review, that there are a lot of complicated relationships in this book. It also sounds like I would enjoy reading it.

This sounds like a good enough book but nothing about the review really called out to me. I am reading some adventure and crime books right now so this just sounded a bit boring. That being said I do like family stories so I will probably add it to my bookshelf to read at a time when I am burnt out on my current reads.

Thank you for this very well written review. I cannot wait to read this book -- it is exactly the type of book I enjoy, that usually affects me and sticks with me for a few days after I read it. I hope that turns out to be true!

The overall flow of the pages I read was good. I felt that the dialogue between characters was a little lacking in originality.

'Official Review: Guardian of Deceit by William H. Coles', is a simple one and discusses elaborately, the theme of the story!

This is one of many reviews I have read on Coles' books. He seems to major in writing on complex relationships that read real to life. Glad you enjoyed the book.
