I like your review and I agree with you that I can't imagine why anyone would want to live a life of those that are rich. I like that this story makes the reader see true relationships and that money does not guarantee happiness. My favorite characters are the help who keep the family together despite all of the turmoil that goes on in the house. This book sounds more realistic in its depiction of family life and the years it takes to develop a friendship or romance.

Life has its own ups and downs of Darwin has to experience in his life. Some of the things he grows can either make him a better person .The explains it .As Darwin grows he experiences different kinds of situations one core being loosing his parents and he has to live with his uncle Luther who is not the best role model to him
