Luther sounds much like Lucifer to me now. I hope Darwin evolves into somebody unlike his uncle.

I am so looking forward to reading this book, CatInTheHat! You had me at "Hello." ?

What an interesting perspective. I had not really connected Luther with being like Lucifer as I read. It might seem that way but without spoiling the book too much, I can simply tell you that you would find some redeeming qualities in the man.

I can relate this to some of my experiences, why shouldn't I take a look at it when it's so much compelling.

When one finds things in their own life that they can relate to within a story, it makes the story so much better. I hope you enjoy the story!

The story is realistic and many people can relate on this. As you mention trust, it is so difficult to find one. Your review is a job well done.

You are right about trust. It is hard, even for people who haven't been through what Darwin went through, to know who to trust.

This sounds like my kind of book. Darwin's experience in the narrative is a familiar one, quite relatable. I am happy about the fact that the book is well-written, free of typos and grammatical errors. I think the review is also nicely done.

I like the fact that you mention that the author gives the relationships time to grow and mature and it's not rushed. It sounds like it has quite a real sense to it. Right now im reading a novel where in 3 months a couple goes from realising they have feelings for each other to buying a house! Together! *mind blown* So i like that this is refreshingly different. And that its not a rags to riches story. Seems like a good read, minus the little flaws. Thank you for a well written and very honest review ;)

I think one of the best parts was the pacing of the relationships. People weren't instant best friends, couples relationships took time to build. Yes, sometimes connections were felt early on but things happened at more realistic paces. I'm glad that you enjoyed the review!

Sounds like Darwin is in a Darwinian struggle. That seems a bit on the nose, but the review certainly makes a good argument for giving it a shot!

A coming-of-age tale about an orphaned teenage boy who overcomes insurmountable odds sounds interesting! It is rare that the editing is excellent and a credit to the author. Well done to the author for managing to show the worst and best in people. Thank you for the review!

In addition to the book summary, the review makes the book a lot more interesting. I think every reader will love this story. It is relatable, with valuable lessons to learn from.
