Thank you so much for this helpful review on today's #BOTD, and it was so nice of William H. Coles to offer it #free to readers! Our past decisions, actions, and mistakes can sometimes be so set in stone that they stick with us forever, making it difficult to move forward, even when we are ready to say good-bye. This sounds like a book has the potential to provoke many late night discussions! I think it is also a book many will be drawn to and interested in reading! Thanks, again!

It sounds like the author covered all of the bases in this book. I like crime dramas, especially with good characters. I like that the author dealt with not only Hiram and Carole's struggling marriage, but the relationships he has with his children. I would like to see how the author deals with these issues. Thanks for the review, I'm glad you liked the book.

This was a great review. I thought about picking this book to review a while back, but thought it might be too much like a Sherlock Holmes novel. Your review makes it sound much different than I expected. Thanks!

In trying not to be a spoiler, you omitted the reason for his fall from grace, you did mention that Ann and her family were pivotal in his tragedy but that wasn't insightful enough. I love the introduction though, being rife with emotions, I sure can't wait to begin reading, thank you for this review. I already downloaded it, I'm going to start reading it now.

A man's quest for power and money alienates him from his family and friends. He has to face the consequences of his actions. I liked your thorough review. Thanks.

The book is suitable for the people who really want to inspect his/her own past life or it really help the readers in understanding that there is always room for changing or growing. Man is always capable of growing and learn from their mistakes

This sounds like an interesting story I do enjoy crime and mystery novels but the thing that really draws me is the idea that this book will keep one guessing until the very end. Thanks so much for sharing. very good!
