I liked the book as well, even though it is not my typical read. The stories are so absurd, they are funny. The satirical way Hannah makes fun of our government and the state of our society is entertaining. I would recommend the book to everyone just as a change-up from your normal. I would give it 3 out of 4 stars.

It sounds like the author has some good twists and turns in his story. It sounds a bit too "experimental" for me though. Kafka and his bugs was too much for me back in high school.

I feel curious about the cover that makes me scan what the insides, I enjoy reading the story though this will never happen in real life that one person woke up one morning and found lump in his neck ad grows later on and turns to another head, a very interesting story that everyone should consider to read.

This sounds like such an interesting collection of short stories. Although I do enjoy short stories as they are easy to pick up and put down, I'm not sure the dark stories is something that would interest me. I do like the idea of reading through different perspectives though so many I will give a couple of the stories a go!

Thanks for your review. I like dark stories when I am in the mood. Having worked in the legal system, I understand the author's perspective. I look forward to ingesting this one a bite at a time.

I would begin by saying I absolutely loved your review! Thank you for writing this. Also, the cover of the book is perfect, almost haunting. Just the cover would make me want to read it.

Thanks E. Moffat for the descriptive review of "A Second, Less Capable Head by James Hanna".

After reading the first short story and not being a fan of Nietzsche, I determined these types of stories were not appealing to me.

I LOVE the sound of this book, and I really enjoyed reading the first short story in the extract. I adore short stories, especially weird ones with a twist. It reminds me a little of Roald Dahl's short stories.

This looks really interesting, but I don't think it's the right book for me. Weirdness and violence together aren't something I handle well.

This book seems extremely interesting. From the few stories you've explained, it seems that Hanna likes to put a last-minute twist in the story to make us question everything we've read in that story so far. I think I will definitely be giving this a read!

I love short story collections and the fact that the author seems to have written each of the stories with a different writing style makes it a lot more interesting.

This sounds very intriguing I must say. I am usually opposed to darker themes though, but I will think at least twice before saying I won't read this book. Thanks for the excellent review!
