Wow! Thats a hell of a story compilation. From the review it seems that despite the unusual concepts the stories have been successful in keeping the interest of the reader.

I look forward to entering this dark and strange world. It is good to know that the characters are so well drawn.

Yikes! Sounds like a wild ride. Wondering if Hanna's experiences in the criminal justice system have infiltrated his mind with such bizarre tales. A good one to read on Halloween night! Thanks for a fun review!

Adimittedly, it's weird getting into the so called minds of degenerates. But on the other hand, you understand them better and can offer them help. I think it's important to understand other viewpoints. Great review EMoffat!

A Second, Less Capable Head by James Hanna is a fantastic short-stories book of mutant schizophrenic soldiers that covers nice stories including hallucinations and illusions. A 4 out of 4 stars rating.

The stories really sound weird. Someone having a second head sprouting from the neck. It's really weird and the lesbian falling in love may be less weird. You really should have loved this book. Thanks for the review.

People who write books do a lot for us, whether the books are fiction or non- fiction. "A Second, Less Capable Head" has exposed to the general public what only psychiatrists and police officers hear or know.

The hallucinations experienced by Virgil are a warning to people about the dangers of taking illicit drugs.

Stories told in good and readable language deserve some kudos.

Sounds modern but I am not into reading about the mind of degenerates. Thanks for the review!

Looking at the title I would have thought this book was mainly following a man with a second head and reading about his struggles. Then reading your review I was caught off gaurd learning that this book has several different stories to offer along side what I would expect to read. It sounds like a very interesting read to get in the minds of what I would like to say the unnorm.
