My wish as I turned the pages of this book is that when I look back into my past life I will have lived a fulfilling life and I will have lived a life worth writing about or wrote a book worth living on , taking nothing and no one for granted as I age gracefully in a home from home. A humorous but soul searching read and a great review

I am interested in themes that revolve around ageing and senior citizens. I think Susan Barrett's A Home from Home will be an insightful read for me. I enjoyed the review.

The last thing that a person who has mismanaged something would want to do is to involve the authorities.
Now that a crime is believed to have taken place, how will they finally resolve this without damaging their reputation?
To me this is the main dilemma for the management of the nursing home.
Thanks for a great review.

I worked in a nursing home for 25 years so this would be a story I could relate to. Thank you for the review.

Sounds intriguing, but the constant jumping about between characters would annoy me I think.

This sounds like a fascinating story! I love when authors layer the stories with different story lines, in this case, with the backstories of the patients and the crime mystery. Congrats on book of the day! Great Review!

Sounds interesting. I doubt if it would capture or hold my interest but I know it would be enjoyable to those who can relate, especially as senior citizens or having close dealings with them. It's also great that one gets to think about people probably taken for granted previously with possible ways for correction. Glad you enjoyed the review.

It doesn't seem like my type of book but I love the fact that character development is on point and this might actually motivate me to read it. Great review
