Thank you for the review. This seemed like the book one shouldn't put away. It has great values, great character development and plotline was interesting. I'd love to read this book soon.

The emotional depth of the story involving family ties and the struggles it sometimes entails are vividly portrayed in this book. Not sure if this is for me though, as I usually opt more for action-packed reads. Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed the book.

When I saw this was a political thriller, I thought I'd pass. Your review has changed my mind. It sounds like the book has a lot of depth and is worth a read.

This is a good review thank you. I have enjoyed just from your explanation how Robert and his family fared and how much the struggles were to keep what you love. Keeping the parents at their old age is not an easy undertaking. There is a lot that one can learn from this novel. I say keep up and thank you for your encouragement, way to go to cause others desire to go through the book especially those it directly affects.

I truly miss my family. My grandparents live in village and we have migrated to the city. I hope I will love the part about strong family values. Thanks for the review. I will read this one :)

It seems the book covers just about everything one would be interested in reading about since it is about family matters and issues the main character has to address, sacrificing himself for the good of the family members. The insightful review is the best recommendation, so we'll definitely give it a go. Thanks for an inspiring review.

The story does sound very relatable. I read the sample and I could already see the plot play out right before me. Robert McGillicuddy's story is the story of so many people around us. Taking care of family and all the responsibilities that come with that can be overwhelming at times. The aspect of his blog as a place to vent I can relate to personally. Great review on a book that speaks to so many people's situation

This sounds like it could be a difficult book for me as I have family members going through health issues. But your review makes it sound like it'd be worth the challenge to read.

I don't think this book is for me, because I'm not a great fan of politics and this topic comes to the forefront of the book. But I'm glad that the author covers such topic as the relationship of children with their aging parents, as this problem is rather acute nowadays and there many stumbling blocks in various situations.
