Review of Transfigured: The Spirit Realm
This book has proven that everything happens for a reason no matter whether good or bad, an example was when Eleazer was met with a situation where he was almost sexually abused and got saved by a gang making him become a member of them, where he also met Rodrigo who become a brother to him then in turn became the one after he's life. I just love the presence of God in this story, I'm a Christain and reading this book has exposed me to the wonders and greatness of God. I love how God comes through for us in times of trouble. This book has given me a detailed explanation of how one feels when God's presence is known. I never knew when the spirit of God is with us, we have a feeling fear, I have once upon a time had this kind of encounter with God before, but I never knew it was God unveiling himself to me. Thank God Dr.Sam helped Eleazer know God and experience his wonders. The explanation Red gave about we humans imagining God to look a certain type of way seems very possible to me, the manifestation of God to us humans is well explained to my understanding. Sometimes forgiveness is best rather than pouring out our anger and doing the unthinkable. It was very courageous of Eleazer controlling the rage and anger and trying to remind himself that God loves Stoney no matter the wrong things he had done. I have heard and seen in movies how we can leave the land of the living and go to spiritual realms to fight battles and it's interesting how Eleazer had to go on his knees each time in pains before he can have proper interaction in the spiritual realm in full strength. Most of the time as we grow our behaviors, life styles and the manner in which we respond to certain situations is mostly based on our up bringing, Joshua killing all his six brothers without having any feeling of guilt was a result of how he was treated as a child and the hatred he developed for he's mother even when he begged her to not make him do what he didn't want to do and the absence of he's father who was the only one that could have saved him from all his childhood trauma. Thank God Eleazer and Joshua died accepting God as their Lord and personal Saviour. It's interesting how Samson (Yvonne) ended up marrying Benaiah, at least both her and her son are in safe hands. It's sad that Azariah died but God knows best. I really enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading the Blood realm, I believe it's going to be as interesting as this one.
