I agree that it get heavy. I found myself skipping forward though it was relatively well written even with a few errors.

I've been having trouble getting my replies to post. So for the second time I'll briefly comment that I agree with rachaelamb1 that the combination of little plot and heavy language made these stories hold little appeal for me.

Great review! Thanks for addressing the plots of each of the sections individually. It gives a much better picture of what to expect in each of the stories.

I like that Strangers In Another Country delivers a nice and profound setting in Sweden. I love to look forward to reading thisa as soon as possible, because I think this is right in time for the fall. I like the review, and that it had no spoiler in it once again.

Thank you for a very detailed review! After reading your review, I realize that this is probably not the sort of book that would really appeal to me, especially if the plot is not thorough or fleshed out. I appreciate your writing this as an honest review and now I won't need to waste my time beginning a book I know I won't read!!!

This book had multiple parts that I liked. I liked Charlie and Betty. They have two separate stories and are very interesting. I loved this book. It grabbed my attention. Recently some books haven't.
