The Sword Swallower and a Chico Kid[/I] is a very well-thought-out book. The story begins by talking about a sword swallower and his adventures with the circus. The second section of the book speaks about a kid going through his life at school and the jobs that he had. Both sides of the story are centered around the use of alcohol and drugs.

This book was very well-written and the plot was amazing. This book perfectly describes each character, and the reader gets to know every character. The humor that is written from characters interacting or from characters thinking to themselves adds a nice touch to the story.

The only negative point was that it did not go into much depth with the alcohol and drug abuse. The story describes it at a surface level, instead of explaining more about how it made the characters feel and how it affected them physically and emotionally.

I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars because the author, Gary Robinson, did a great job of explaining the character's feelings and writing dialogue. The only complaint was that the story did not go into further depth about alcohol and drug abuse and the other issues that were presented throughout the stories.

People who have struggled or seen someone struggle with alcohol or drug abuse might find this book interesting. This book could also be enjoyed by anyone who loves a touch of humor.
